Description

Water is more than H₂O. In nature, it moves through atmosphere, stone, soil, and time, gaining its mineral character through interaction with the world around it.

The Water Filtration System is built around a simple idea: water treatment shouldn't be purely subtractive. It should filter + restore.

Across seven stages, the system combines sediment and carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, re-mineralization, and final polish into a continuous treatment process.

Reverse osmosis creates a clean foundation by reducing a broad range of dissolved solids and contaminants. From there, Bicarbonate Brewing™ technology uses a reverse-polarity ion exchange (RIX™) and dolomite-inspired re-mineralization media to further treat the water while rebuilding its mineral character around bicarbonate, magnesium, and calcium.

Rather than stopping at purified water, the system integrates subtractive and additive processes, taking inspiration from the natural processes that shape mineral-rich waters.

Seven stages work together inside a fully analog, commercial-grade stainless steel system finished in white powder coat and built around quick-change cartridges for simple long-term service. Designed in the USA and hand-built in Southern California.

Finished water is independently lab tested to verify its mineral composition, water chemistry, and contaminant profile.

NATURE'S BLUEPRINT

MINERAL RESTORATION

Inspired by the way water naturally interacts with the atmosphere and mineral geology, the system is designed to restore mineral chemistry after filtration, rather than leaving water at the RO stage.

FAQ

How is this different from a conventional reverse osmosis system?

The system is designed around FILTER + RESTORE. Across seven stages, sediment and carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and remineralization work together to reduce unwanted constituents while rebuilding aspects of the water’s mineral chemistry. Rather than treating purification as the endpoint, the system integrates both subtractive and additive processes. RO and ion exchange are established drinking-water treatment technologies.

What is Bicarbonate Brewing™?

Bicarbonate Brewing™ is the technology behind the system’s restoration process. Reverse-polarity ion exchange works together with dolomite-inspired remineralization media to build a finished-water profile centered around bicarbonate, magnesium, and calcium.

What does the system filter?

Seven stages combine sediment filtration, catalytic carbon, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, remineralization, and final filtration. Together, they are designed to address sediment, chlorine and chloramine, dissolved solids, and a broad range of other constituents while restoring mineral character to the finished water. Actual performance varies with source-water conditions. EPA notes that RO can reduce a broad range of dissolved and other contaminants.

Why does my water sometimes look cloudy?

Freshly dispensed water may occasionally appear cloudy or milky due to microscopic air bubbles. Pressure changes within the system can cause dissolved air to come out of solution as the water reaches the faucet. This is normal and should clear as the bubbles rise and dissipate. It may be more noticeable after installation or cartridge replacement.

How often do the cartridges need to be replaced?

Cartridges are typically replaced every 6, 12, or 24 months, depending on the stage, water quality, and usage. Quick-change cartridges make routine replacement fast and simple. See the system manual for the complete replacement schedule.

Which configuration do I need?

Choose Complete System for a new installation. Choose Unit Only when retrofitting to an existing reverse osmosis setup and reusing compatible components such as your existing feed, drain, storage tank and faucet. Depending on the existing connections, a ¼" × ⅜" adapter may be required.
